Hey! This went better than expected. A great result against Usa after they blasted Sweden 10-5 the other night and not to mention our 9-1 loss in Lake Placid.

Yeah, overall decent effort. Showed that we can compete on small ice. Just disappointed that two of the shooters bit on the "Here's my glove, put the puck right here please" technique even though the five-hole was wide open on the first and the far post on the other. Looked like Kapanen didn't really have a plan going in and panicked.

I can say he had his moments, but playing on utmost top level the whole game ... that's what I'm expecting from him. Otherwise he wont win Calder the next year.

Just a difference of opinion, I didn't see Bernier in any way while watching Demko today. Reimer yeah sure but Bernier nah. Demko just didn't ooze confidence like Husso does, he's positioning sucks which leads to huge rebounds in the slot, scrambles in front of the net. Yeah he had a good game, I don't think he had to make any big saves, but in saying that, I saw a lot of unnecessary scrambles. Look at the other side and Husso was great! now if you compare someone to Bernier it would be Husso.

It was a great game.The talent that team USA have is just amazing,much closer game that I thought.Without Husso this would have been a blownout.

A classic Finnish comment - the US goalie rather saved their bacon in the 3rd and OT. In games with Finland in it against a stronger team, you should not look at the puck possession or "almost great" chances but genuinely great chances - and they were not lopsided at all, especially towards the end of the game.

Congrats to USA but you're SO DAMN FAR from Canara it's not even funny. Eichel was like a baby for reals, didn't play on adult level. Finns however did good together as a team, especially Husso.

Where is this Canara? I know where Canada is and we're right next door, so maybe you're talking about the Canaries. Now the thing is they suck at hockey, so I dunno, maybe you're talking literally on this front, and yes, the US is literally pretty damn far away from the Canary Islands.
