Reminds me a bit of Bernier, in the sense that because he's almost always in perfect position, pucks just hit him, and he makes relatively tough stops look routine.
Got lucky on the Kapanen shot in the shootout though, went down really early and left low stick wiiiiide open, but KK went glove.

Husso and Demko were best players in the game. Eichel and Rantanen were best players for skaters. Didn't see much Matthews or Puljujärvi but Puljujärvi looked slightly better to me but that might be bias. But saying that Matthews is clear cut #1 for 2016 draft is false.

Finns played great team game I thought. Not surprising defending gm champs aren't an easy win, thought they had it in the bag there a couple times in fact. Post and empty netter right at the end of ot could've sealed it. Thought they were the better team in the 3rd and ot.

Finnish goalie Husso was so darn much better than Demko. He didn't have to do lots but even thought then the puck bounced loose from every save ... against more offensive team than Finland USA might have had extremely hard time.
Shaky, he settled down in the 2nd but there were moments throughout the game where he was out of position. If it wasn't for Butcher making a save Finland wins it late in the 3rd.
Hussolini was really impressive minus the shootout. Unbelievable that he went undrafted in 2013.

The US scores 10 goals on Sweden, and they have a weak defensive game. They let in 1 goal against Finland and they have a weak offensive game. Lol.

Well, I complain about the result - this was very close to be our game, even having the sillier penalties (though the refs were by and large equally horrible). The second period wasn't so great, but we had the best chances in the 3rd.
Shootout is such an idiotic way to decide these matches - though of course the US deserved the win as they were better in it. The match though was quite even.

I know better than to underestimate Suomi in an international tournament.

It was a great game.The talent that team USA have is just amazing,much closer game that I thought.Without Husso this would have been a blownout.
