I think Finland is 3rd in the group, so they will face Sweden/Czech/Russia in the QF. Everything is possible there.

I doubt it. A few points from the lower lines won't make him any more known he already is.
This generally has been a tournament where the 19 year olds shine. With a couple of 18 year old outliers. Puljujärvi propably is one of the outliers, but he is 16.
True. Most likely it's way too early for him. Very few 16 year-olds have shown anything worth noting in this tournament
Usa is only team in this tournament that scares me. Not Canada or rest of the field, seen these Eichel, Tuch, Milano and co dominate u18s lake placids this and that its not even funny.
Hopefully good effort from team Finland to kickstart the tournament and hopefully progress from there and beat USA in final as revenge in 2 weeks time.

It will be a miracle if he does more than survive. Small rink and mediocre, underaged line probably means the pace of the game is too high. It's a valuable learning experience but not much more.

Finland is lacking a second line center who has offensive capabilities and coach Jortikka wants to have a true number one line at least against USA. In the projected lineup, it is therefore predicted that Mustonen-Hintz -duo will be separated and Hintz, who has played practically the whole season in the wing, will take the second line center role.
Looking forward to this game! If we have any chance it'll be through superior goatlending and playing a disciplined team game.. but I would be surprised if Finland won this I predict 4-2 US with Saros standing on his head

De Leo is listed on left wing with Eichel-Tuch according to the line chart for today's game on USA Hockey's website. That's certainly not a role I expected for him leading up to the tournament.

USA is great but they only dominate the u18s because they play with each other all year long, while the other teams have to come together quickly and find some chemistry.
I personally would be more afraid of Canada but both teams look incredibly dangerous.

I'm actually more excited about this game than our game vs the Czechs. I just love so many of the american players but it's also going to be fun to see Puljujärvi, Rantanen and Kapanen. FIN vs USA matchups in general are very fun to watch. Should be an exciting game!
