This improbable coincidence is something I simply can't wrap my head around.

Sebastian Aho is an extremely rare name to begin with.

If you combine the population of Finland and Sweden you get, what, ~15 million people.

Out of those 15 million I'd wager there's maybe 10-15 people total with that name.

The odds of both countries having a player with that name representing their respective national teams at the world juniors at the same time should be astronomical.

This is infinitely weirder than Niklas Bäckström and Nicklas Bäckström.

Definitely thought it was the same guy. Mind blowing.

I don't think its a requirement in Canada to know a countries name in its native language either.

Actually I don't really know if the school system really goes that in depth in Europe anyways.

Huh it was a big deal for me here in Ontario.

Anyways it's just common courtesy imo. How would you feel if all of Hfboards started calling Canada Καναδάς (greek)? :sarcasm:

Quite a bit cheaper haha.

I'd imagine watching Sweden or USA wouldn't be bad.

$10 tickets for Sweden Vs Denmark
$10 tickets for USA vs Germany

I'd go watch those I just don't know if any of my buddies are that into watching other countries

Starting price of $50 for Canada vs Germany. Thats actually an amazing price compared to the Leafs.

Yeah the tickets I had when I went were about 35 a pop for the group stage, not cheap but hardly wallet breaking as well.

Can't say I'd have minded paying $10 a pop for Russia-Austria when I went, which IMHO is about what it should have been. Much smaller arena in Regina then Montreal to say the least though.
