OK, now that we're at intermission...

If the Hamilton draft was re-drafted, where would he go this time around?

I think it is only a matter of time before the Krejci line scores. They have had a ton of opportunities.

Ahaha, Seguin in the interview "Marshy was screaming at the top of his lungs, so I passed it to him. He almost missed it, too."

Krejci: Great game, his skating and vision are absoloutely incredible. If he keeps ups his play like he has the last 2 games, that line is gonna roll. At this point im glad we didn not trade him for yandle.

Chara: What else is there to say, great game, helping dougie!

Hamilton: Hell of a period, skating, vision, hes being physical, just the D man the bruins needed.

Seguin: best forward on the ice alongside krejci!

Rask: Solid period! Huge save on wellwood!

That save by Rask on the breakaway was the momentum swing we needed. Hopefully we can bring it into the 2nd.

Why do hockey players dump and change. Is it because of line change

The Soviets actually didn't do this back in the 60s and 70s as much and Original Six teams had coaches that hated this because they didn't like the idea of giving up posession so they'd pass around and change the D/fwds separately as they did that.

But now with a faster paced game, the best way to do it is to dump the puck in, change 3 or 4 players at least and get fresh legs out there. They can't take 1:00 long shifts anymore like before in most cases or they'll get burned.

I just realized that I was expecting Dougie Hamilton to be a lot more like Blake Wheeler than he is, at least in his first season. I always liked Wheeler but Dougie seems a lot more physical than Blake. I am glad I was wrong about that.

I agree with the commentator that we need to be better on defense. We allowed what 12 shots in that 1st period. Rangers had 21 shots in that whole game Saturday.

On offense we looking gooooood...

Dougie Hamilton, who is paired with Chara today in 44's absence (lower body), leads all skaters in ice time through the first w/7:33.^CS

Seguin was lucky to get that a game in his rookie year
