If nothing else, most our future defense will get very accustomed to each other.

Berggren, Soderbloom, Johansson, and Edvinson had assists. We kinda stole this one. Hutchinson had 40 saves or so.

Outshot heavily. Not amazing but a goalie steal. Al the right guys got points, and even still Kasper, Lombardi, Hanas, Wallinder, Tuomisto didn’t. Man this team is loaded!

Shots don't really tell the story last night. I didn't get there till ten minutes into the first but after that the Griffins were the better team overall. Both teams played pretty solid defense at 5v5 - there weren't many chances at all.

Edvinsson was as advertised - he looks very comfortable running the pp.
Wallinder and Johansson were steady and flashed some skill.
Kasper was pretty quiet - not on either powerplay which is frustrating.
Hanas continued his preseason performance.
Lombardi was quick and very active tho he didn't generate much.
Soderblom hit the bar on his patented thru the legs move but that was about it.
Tuomisto I barely noticed at all.

The vets played really well last night too, Hutchison included. I think this team is going to be really, really good. Can't wait till they get Mazur in the lineup too.

How was the lines and lineup?

I can't remember exactly from last night but this is pretty close to what it was.

Hirose - Czarnik - Berggren
Soderblom - Kasper - Hanas
L'esperance- Lombardi - Shine
Gettinger - ZAR - Sawcuk

Edvinsson - Rafferty
Wallinder - Didier
Johansson - Tuomisto

Kasper is very good skater and intense player. There's probably some health problem if he's playing quietly. Don't worry about him at all, he will be very important part of the Red Wings
