Nice to see Kane pop a couple, but he still doesn’t seem to be too thrilled out there. Usually get a smile after he scores, but not tonight, even after breaking that long slump. Dunno, maybe it’s nothing.
Meh, I remember his “non-reaction” scoring a hat trick in the playoffs against the Flames in game 3
Seems like his demeanour

Knights on the PP now that it’s tied eh

Poor Coyotes will probably be on the PK for as long as it takes for Vegas to score, they’ll get a 5 on 3 if that’s what it takes

I think he expects a lot out of himself so when he scores it’s just like “yeah, finally”

Meanwhile, the nucks clinched playoffs and make a 'clinched' tshirt lmao.

Side note, those prices are as gross as the gas prices.
$63 for a playoffs shirt? Seriously?

This roster is good enough to win the cup if they bring it consistently and can stick to their defensive structure. I look at the forward depth this year vs last year and it's night and day difference and their 5 on 5 play has been way way way better. If the PP can start clicking again come playoff time they can compete with any team in the league. There's way less of those Dallas games this year. They're becoming a lot more consistent in their team defence. Not perfect, but definitely better.

Should be a fun (and hopefully long) ride.

Arizona leads. Meltdown mode fully activated, Knights don't want that Oiler smoke. I could only imagine HFOil right now if the Oilers blew this lead against the lowly Yotes.
Holy shit wasn't expecting to see that. Vegas defensively does not look all that strong this year and their goaltending is crumbling as a result. Even before Hill got injured his game was falling off a cliff.

Actually seems a little embarrassed about the prolonged slump and attention about it. In one of the interviews he referred to himself as a goal scorer. As a proud guy this seems more embarrassed than angry or apathetic. Who knows we're missing most of the information in this team's day-to-day reality.

Watch Mark Stone and Tomas Hertl magically be ready next game to play.
Such a fraud f***ing cheating organization. SMD VGK.

As someone who’s been critical of this team for not being able to hang with the best teams in the league….great performance by the team.

I’ll lead off with the opinion that the sequence of Ekholm blowing Rantanen up followed up by that virtuoso goal on the next 5v5 shift was the best of any Oilers d man in a long, long time. Ekholm has been fantastic for us since he came here, but I feel like all of a sudden he has taken his game to another level not seen from him at any point in his career, even in Nashville. Tonight was an elite of the elite game from him.

I feel somewhat vindicated for my insistence that Kane - McLeod - Perry stay together as a solid identity line. I think Perry is probably the perfect guy to get Kane going in the right direction and once they get more traction I’m convinced that those two are going to play off each other and embrace being a problem for other teams in a range of ways. Insane that we went away from them at all, still mind blowing.

To a man we played a solid hockey game tonight - that is the kind of game I know we can deliver when we get out of our own way.
