Post-Game Talk: Good teams find ways to win bad games

This was actually even an odd night for Daccord. Normally he's better with the pucks. heh. But yeah most games it seems its only goaltending keeping Seattle even in games. They're next level bad. SJ level bad. See a team there just giving up. Somebody check to make sure Eberle or Gourde are really injured or just sick of being around there.

Seattle could maybe be our Farm team. That would be OK with me.

This was the expressed concern with the rule when it was first devised. By nature its a ruling that amplifies the cost of officiating errors. You'd think that odd, that it increases the probability that flawed calls influence results. Then you snap to and realize this is the NHL and that random parity is wanted.
That's what I was hearing from some fans, that the players have checked out. Even Larsson seemed quite limp. I remember him being much more quick in the defensive zone and with some physical bite. He was going through the motions imo

Re: Jessica Campbell

I’m pretty sure she was hired because she had worked with Bylsma during his time coaching the Seattle farm team.

It’s really no different than Woodcroft hiring Manson as his assistant.

Now you can criticize with hindsight the wisdom in those hirings but to say she was hired solely because she was a woman is wrong imo.
I mean Manson is still more qualified but I see your point.

Figured out @tardigrade81 real name.
