that would be insane. i like ekblad as a player and i'm not trying to put him down at all. its more to say there are way too many ranger fans who don't realize or appreciate all the things trouba brings to the team.
i would understand fl fans not wanting to do this either, like i said, nothing against ekblad or about better/worse...they're just different players and trouba is a critical piece of the rangers roster where this trade would not make sense.

Although, only has 8 PGA TOUR wins and 1 DP World Tour win. The 4 majors were great, but he's not at that level anymore.
Koepka at the end of 2021 during a press conference said "that wasn't peak" when a reporter asked him about competing (and winning) in majors like he used to. Honestly I haven't seen that kind of player for while from him.
He's muttered about being "off his game mentally" but he's 32 and should have a lot left in the tank. Koepka is not a threat right now...
...but also neither is Ekblad. Gifted athlete that just somehow did not end up being what he was drafted to be. Came close but he's 27 and I don't see his skating improving. It's just not good enough to be a yearly Norris threat.

This year has been rough for him. Hard to tell if it’s him, lack of a partner he gels with, or Maurice’s shitty systems. Also had some bad injuries to start the year.
