Absolutely, but many ppl thinks that if your league has some quality, therefore Swiss hockey is better than Czech. I do not agree here. That´s all, I hope tomorrow we will prove it.

This is the best US team I’ve seen at this tournament in my lifetime.
You can’t look at their result as anything less than a disappointment.
After some recent research into my ancestry, I was surprised to see that not only do I have Swiss in my ancestry(Grindelwald, anyone?), but also some from Bohemia. Where does this leave me?

I don‘t think that one game proves anything, tbh. I didn‘t think that because we beat you in the group stage, that all of a sudden we were for sure better than you guys.
I think that Switzerland has now fully established its presence in the top teams in the world (Can, Swe, Rus, Fin, US, Cze, Swi, Ger, Slo, in no particular order) and that‘s what matters.
As for who is better among these top teams in the world, it varies year by year.
This year, Switzerland is in the finals at the Worlds, and a Swiss team won the Champions League: I think that we can be happy about this season, no matter what happens tomorrow night.
I have great respect for the Czech. I should hope that you have the same for Switzerland: in the past 11 worlds (from 2013), this is the 3rd final we reach (vs 1 for you guys). And if the 2020 edition - that was supposed to be held in Switzerland - wasn‘t canceled because of Covid, maybe we could even have a better record.

As for me I just dont have time for HF boards right now. I can barely carve out enough time to watch the games. I still dont think Fischer contributed much to the advance to the finals. And I think it will be bad for Swiss hockey that we are basically stuck with him now until he is 65 no matter what happens tomorrow. But that still doesnt mean that I am not happy for the team that it got that far.
Rutta suspended as expected. Stupid action by him, really weakens the team. Krejcik in hospital; might miss the final as well. If we play minus two important Ds like that we are in trouble.

Gotta say that's an awesome final to have and hard to not be happy for whoever wins it. Czech on home ice and first final appearance since they won the gold back in 2010 and would be first ever gold for the Swiss. Best part is both teams are very deserving to be in the final and have shown through the tournament they are legit.
Necas will give great assists again and the Czechs will win.

That has nothing to do with success, it's a personal thing.
Fischer was already before this year our most successfull coach ever.
He's a native, he's a great motivator and finally brought structure and stability into this team.
Yeah, let's hate that and constantly hope he get's fired so we can have some retired Canadians behind the bench and change them every two years.
Some of our people just love to be grumpy, and hating our national coach is the main competition. Same for football. Whoever is in charge does everything wrong and should be replaced.
They will be back pretty soon on this board. Thank god in real life, the 'fans' are way more positive than on here.

But let's not focus on negativity, it's gold medal day and I'm already too excited! Expecting another nervous game, hope they could find some rest.
I mean it's not the same if you were recovering since 16:30 or finish a shootout at 21:00. Doubt they could just sleep 2 hours later with the adrenaline still floating.
As a fan of Finland I don't have personal favorites for this game. SUI has never won gold and it feels too long since the last CZE win, so it would be nice to see that as well. This is good for the sport of ice hockey that we'll get a winner that isn't CAN or FIN, especially when these two teams won't even play in the four team tournament next winter.

To me it seems like they have grown more as a team during the tournament, they have added few of their best NHL players during the tournament and they have the rest advantage as well. Home crowd curse has been broken so many times in the recent years, so that's not a real thing anymore, so home crowd is another advantage for sure.
It should be a Fiala vs Necas show, but Pastrnak will score a goal and Josi will be Josi. Will the Swiss goalie continue to play like yesterday in a back to back game? That will be interesting factor as well. Power plays should mean a lot in this game. Without PP SUI is not as dangerous, but at the same time SUI can't do PK very well.

As much as I like Czechia and czech fans, I want Switzerland to win finally. Czechia will win this trophy later. 2018 final was already a painful game to watch, the swiss were so close.

Yes, you are right. Sorry, yesterday I was a little bit emotional after that match and especially after those unbelievable calls and blindness of refs. They stole Sweden 5 min PP + they stole 4 or 5 absolutely clear calls in our favor as well. I hope today they will be fair.

Don't you think the Swiss team looked weak in the latter part of the game but before the overtime ?
Canada took over completely in the third period.
Is that a sign that the depth is not really as strong as the Czechs might have ?
For me , judging by the last game Czehcs is a strong favourite .
The danger might be if the Czechs get nervous or something or get a bad start, but I think with that crazy atmosphere the chance of that is small ...
