Don't want to say "I told you" but I did say yesterday after that bad game against US that TC will play their best today. Part of it was due to losing to this team in prelim round.

A great victory. This Canadian team was much inferior than last year's team. No real superstars like other nations such as Russia. Congrats to Finland on their Silver.

Majority of the forwards on this team are NHL first liners. Depends on your definition of star but the team was stacked even if it was a B-C-D team forward wise. Was def a D-E team defensively.

This was one of the worst Team Finland finals performance ever. At no point in this game did Finland look like they even deserve to be there. Too slow, too weak and often way too stupid. Not to take anything away from Canada, they played well, scored a beautiful goal and deserved to win.

I get real PO'ed when Canadians use this argument. For me this is tournament is in the same tier as the Olympics and Stanley Cup. I have no interest in that World Cup of Hockey in September.
