Also, this game was all about the game scenario. Sweden never got ahead. If they would've, this could've been uglier. It was the perfect game for Switzerland, but in the end, they couldn't pull it off.

It seems like he isn't allowed to be creative at all in Edmonton, cause he is much better on oeam Sweden - especially offensively.

Why are there more upset finns in this thread than swiss? I feel terribly for you swiss fans, you came so close played a near perfect game and upped your game when it mattered the most.

As a swiss fan, i'm not sad at all.
The sweden was clearly better. It was a super fun game for us. Finally, the gold is just a medal, pride is much more important.
We have to be realistic, lose in OT against this sweden is still a big achievment.

Too bad your coach never lets him use his puck skills. He has said, on record, it's been so much fun playing for Sweden, because the team actually utilized him to his full potential and let him play the puck. I will never understand how a coach can play Adam Larsson like he's Adam Foote.

Larsson is very impressive in the defensive part of the game, confident, tough, strong but still tons of sportmanship, after watching him more closely now he is one of my favorit Swedish players, ranking him really high.

Take the goalie out of the net and there is still no possibility of the puck going in.

That’s why they don’t count them as shots.

They are still closer than most shots on goal, in terms of inches.

Well, it’s obviously gonna be a fair bit of swedes in a GMG GDT if Sweden is playing and some of us will behave poorly. The same goes for every nation on here with a significant fanbase. I was merely wondering why I see more finns upset over a swedish win than swiss fans upset over a swiss loss.
