Only thing I hate is all the Americans fans they will walk over Finland easily for the gold.. in my mind the game will be close. Just felt like lack of respect. Congrats on the gold, you guys did win it but it was a closer game than just walk in the park..
Nothing to hate. It's just kids trying to win a medal for their country .It was a great game

I know but just ignore that.Usally people talking like that are trying to reassure themselves they can win.It was a nail biter.
2 goal against a team like US isn't enough. I don't understand how always after 2 periods we are suddenly out of gas.

Yeah congrats on that? Unfortunately nobody remembers second place.
For a small country like Finland medal is a medal. I take it especially when we shouldn't even have made the semifinals on the first place.

All respect to you as an actual Finland fan. Other guy is just a Canadian trying to diminish the USA victory, I've had enough of that.

Never realized how much Canadians hate USA Hockey until watching the semifinal & gold medal games. Good grief. Where did Team USA touch you?
You have to understand the Canadian psyche......we feel this is our sport and we don't have a whole lot other prestige in other sports unless you count curling...ha ha....but yeah we are slowly seeing a changing of the guard in the world of Hockey and many Canucks are not happy about it and are acting like spoiled children........I was personally cheering for the US today....happy for you guys.

You're boys played well, and could have easily won. A fluke goal sparked the USA comeback.

Yeah, I was reading this thread because I woke up like 4-5 times during the night and even dreamed about Finland winning the game lmao. Saw that they scored and it was some bouncy puck.. I wish we could've stayed 3-1 lead until the end of the 2nd. Maybe the game would've had a different result.

Buium, Leonard, Nelson, Perreault, Augustine, Moore & Carle. What a legacy.

Finns were great. No scrappy underdogs, just a machine of a team with a lot of talent.

Respect to Ottawa for showing up and bringing passion despite a disappointing tournament from TC.

Best hockey of the year. Delivers every year. See you next year in St. Paul, hope my hometown brings the same energy and excitement that Ottawa provided. Canada is going to have a wagon of a team and be out for blood

A disappointing result but not as bad as it was back in 2022. Damn we were near back then and battled hard against Canada. This time USA was clearly stronger and deserved their gold medal(even Ryan Leonard). Still I´m proud of our team. It was about time to end that medal drought.

Btw. Teddy Stiga has to be one of the coolest names I´ve heard for a long time. Not that I like the guy much right now.
