Canada is just faster
Its amazing how Canada looks when the team is made up of 3rd and 4th line NHLers and Canadians playing in European leagues. Kind of amazing really.

Some people are always critisizing Smith here although he makes such a good job in the playoffs so far

Oh the irony, coming from Sid's mouth![]()
Its interesting to see Canadian people change theyre minds about bigger ice surface... Igor Larionov was right in saying Crosbys and co are product of the fast and skill game that the red army played... back in those days Canadians were outmatched nowadays they have catched up because the standard set by team Red Army. Back in the day canadians accepted the dirty Broad street bullies way and considered that the correct style of hockey everyone cheering for them buth truth is soviets were miles ahead in skill and speed etc. So its ironic that the style canadians didnt like of soviets is now admired as the preferred model.
Ennis is one player that would benefit form bigger ice. That speed and mobility![]()

i dont think the speed of this game has anything to do with the ice size, it has more to do with the speed of both teams.... you have two offensive and fast teams with offensive dcores, thats why it is like this, not because the boards are wider...
He isn't used to having a winger to pass toWow does Malkin know how to pass?
