Everybody keeps talking about canada's forwards this tourney, but honestly the canadian defense has been damn good, extremely steady the entire tourney.

Burns - Hamhuis are playing like 25 min a game. Just complete beasts
Barrie has been damn good
Mizzin and ekblad have had up and down moments, but still good.
Wiercioch has had a good tourny also.

This is a huge reason for the good event so far for canada.

Its interesting to see Canadian people change theyre minds about bigger ice surface... Igor Larionov was right in saying Crosbys and co are product of the fast and skill game that the red army played... back in those days Canadians were outmatched nowadays they have catched up because the standard set by team Red Army. Back in the day canadians accepted the dirty Broad street bullies way and considered that the correct style of hockey everyone cheering for them buth truth is soviets were miles ahead in skill and speed etc. So its ironic that the style canadians didnt like of soviets is now admired as the preferred model.

:sarcasm::sarcasm:

Ennis is one player that would benefit form bigger ice. That speed and mobility:handclap:

He also greatly benefits from not being the ONLY creative offensive player on his team. Too bad Ennis gets buried on such a lousy sabres offense. Glad he gets to showcase himself here. He's incredibly underrated because of circumstances.

ya ? Expect we can play a grinding game too , we have perfected our game and it is our game , play anyway we want cause we own it

i dont think the speed of this game has anything to do with the ice size, it has more to do with the speed of both teams.... you have two offensive and fast teams with offensive dcores, thats why it is like this, not because the boards are wider...

I think it's a combination of the rosters and in Canada's case, the coaching. The Olympic team seemed to be set out to defend, this team to attack. This team isn't afraid of the rink.

Crosby!!!

CROSBYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

from Hamhuis and burns!
