It's attached behind the glass...
are they being given a chance to be?
Oh yeah, congrats Canada.
nope, it couldn't and it was not above the ice surface.Again. It was attached to the glass. For the purposes of the rules, the camera could very well considered part of the glass.
Rules tend to have weird wording tbh. But judging by that call, that's what I assume. Although I could see it being worded as "structural" in the event an object held by a fan and reaching the area above ice surface is hit by a puck, in which case the rule would not apply due to it not being part of the arena setup or something like that.Any physical object? What other kind of objects are there? Dark matter?
Is itIt’s attached to the glass.
The netting is attached to the glass too and it's a structural object. So your saying if a dman clears the zone and hits the netting it's not a penalty?
Did you see us taunting once you lost?
The opposite of classic, really.Incredible game- a classic
Russia wasn't the better teamRussia was the better team. Russians should be proud. You played some awesome hockey in this tournament.
That's pretty much it.Russia has only themselves to blame after blowing a 2 goal lead with 10 mins left although they should have gotten a 6 on 3 at the end. They still had to score though
Lol. The hubris of Finnish fans here over a few gold medal wins in recent years needed to be brought back to reality. Get over yourself.
Oh, and congratulations to Canada about the gold. This is kind of weird, I usually have a strong feeling about he result being "justified" or not (obviously no such thing really in sports) but now I'm kind of baffled, it's not that Russians would have earned it either. I would have preferred most of the game being 5 on 5 and without that bizarre ending, it would have been a sure classic. Oh well, IIHF...
It shouldn't have according to the rules.Bob McKenzie says it should have been penalty
They are literally talking about it right now.[/QUOTE
Yes .. 5 minutes later. McKenzie said it was a lucky call. Duthie said TSN placed the camera out of the way.
nope, it couldn't and it was not above the ice surface.
