FYI,

Nurse wasn't on the ice for an even strength goal against the entire tournament.

This while facing every teams top lines.

It's not always about scoring points. The all star team is voted on by reporters. Pronman got it right though.

Congratulations to Canada. Other than suffering a goaltending meltdown, Russia played very well in an exciting game that was in doubt right to the end. The turning point for Russia was when the entire Russian team literally left the ice on a line change, leaving McDavid all alone to easily walk in on goal. Russian fans can be proud that the team stood toe-to-toe throughout the entire match.

For Canada, most of the credit should go to the crowd. The crowd had the Canadians playing at a level of emotional frenzy that they would never be able to show if they were playing in Helsinki or Vienna. They kind of ran out of emotion, but they had enough left to hang on at the end. Great game for both teams

Valeri Bragin is a damn good coach. I wonder if he ever takes his coaching to the NHL.

Bragin is good, but he's treated like a messiah sometimes. Today's game alone had him pulling the goalie too early and allowing his team to fall behind 4 goals.
