The Virtanen call was crap but the rest have been legitimate.

This defense has been awful, they haven't been able to adjust to Russia's outside speed, and then you have guys like Nurse, Bowey & Hicketts making bad plays.

I knew they shouldn't have cut Fluery.

McDavid's line is quite frankly a better defensively than Gauthier's, and I say that as a Leafs fan, they need to get him out there more at 5v5. When McDavid is on the puck is usually in the offensive zone, he actually has the speed to get back to his own end quickly when needed.

Canada's response to any adversary has been the most shocking/disappointing. Every Russian goal is followed by a terrible Canada shift or a Canada penalty. While Russia has put their heads down and kept working.

They're lucky they were able to pump 5 goals in or else they wouldn't even be in this game.
