I always used to cheer for Finland when Canada wasn't playing because they were always the underdog. Small country passionate about the game etc. etc. But for some reason that has changed over the last half dozen years or so. I now find the attitude of many of their fans a bit hard to take. A little embarrassing for Finland to need the favouratism of incompetent referees to score.

It is apparent that, as sometimes happens, Canada needs to beat two teams. This is being cooked for the host nation.

Refs are refs. There is no need to get hung up on these things as a fan. Canadians haven't had to get used to an amazing ref likek Vinnerborg who basically tried to throw their games.
