I always used to cheer for Finland when Canada wasn't playing because they were always the underdog. Small country passionate about the game etc. etc. But for some reason that has changed over the last half dozen years or so. I now find the attitude of many of their fans a bit hard to take. You're good but not that good.;

Haven't watched most of the Tourny, but can someone please tell me why, in a gold medal game, the third string goalie was the backup?

We are just more confident, how is that a bad thing? Being overconfident is bad but confidence is good.

Team Canada is to blame for taking bad penalties. Refs are ignoring the crowd so that's good. Try putting the puck in the net.

Don't usually cheer for Canada at these things but this team has been battling the whole time.

A little embarrassing for Finland to need the favouratism of incompetent referees to score.

It is apparent that, as sometimes happens, Canada needs to beat two teams. This is being cooked for the host nation.

Lol.. at the fans acting like they wouldn't be flipping their lids if the shoe was on the other foot.
Refs are refs. There is no need to get hung up on these things as a fan. Canadians haven't had to get used to an amazing ref likek Vinnerborg who basically tried to throw their games.

A team may only request a Coach’s Challenge to review the following scenarios:

i “Off-side” Play Leading to a Goal (IIHF Rules 78, 79, 81, 82, 84)
ii Scoring Plays Involving Potential “Interference on a Goaltender”
