John Tavares on Sergei Bobrovsky

I think maybe this is the fourth of the playoffs and first of the second round? I remember two from Adin Hill last round and Rantanen on Blackwood

Wasn’t Tavares the Islander who scored the series winning OT goal on a wraparound on Luongo to eliminate the Panthers back in 2016?

Softy of the night is this John Tavares goal on Sergei Bobrovsky

I wanted to give it to Woll on that Reinhart goal that they initially didn’t rule a goal and didn’t know it crossed the line. The video of that one wasn’t very long and descriptive enough.

Softy of the night is this Kyle Connor goal on Jake Oettinger

I think that’s the fifth wraparound goal of the playoffs?

Hellebuyck didn’t get pulled! Baby steps!

it's WRAPAROUND SZN i guess

crazy how many there have been
I could be off by one, but I think this was the fifth of the playoffs. Adin Hill allowed two, then Blackwood in the game Colorado were eliminated in. And then Tavares on Bob the other night. And now this latest one.

This isn’t from my record, as I wasn’t keeping track of specifically wraparounds that early in the season, but I know there’s at least site that does and at one point Oettinger had allowed the most this season of any goalie. Maybe that changed towards the end.

What caused me to start keeping track of wraparounds was when I roasted Nico Daws for allowing one against the Pens and I tried to scream about how uncommon these goals were. And that there’s only 1-2 per week in the entire league.
