Georgiev was a good prospect at one point but has really fallen off. Is he an NHL goalie at this point?

Possibly.

But he’s having a really bad season. His numbers with the joke Sharks aren’t even much worse than his numbers with the much better Avalanche. Just a really bad season all around.

I’d look for him to be better next year, but he’s been pretty meh outside of that really good year two seasons ago in Colorado. Where at least one fan claimed the Rangers traded the wrong goaltender. Implying he was better than Shesterkin.
