Softy of the night is this Luke Hughes goal on Joseph Woll
Was that any worse than Matthews goal? They both sort of looked the same to me.

I thought that one was a little worse. Was that any worse than Matthews goal? They both sort of looked the same to me.
I forgot to make some sort of bad joke about that. I'm so glad that at least heading into next season NJ realizes they need another 1A but they have what appears to be a 1B in Allen and that will push Daws and Schmid back to Utica for at least the start of next season to marinate some more. I could see Daws taking over the 1B role at some point next season. I'm expecting Schmid to be part of any trade for a goalie in the summer.I thought that one was a little worse.
Everyone's favorite goalie had a couple for the blooper reels too.
Softy of the night is this Brayden Point goal on Linus Ullmark
When you can’t decide on the softy of the night, always go with the wraparound.
He isn't even playing today. It's Dostal.@Bleedred Gibson looking good.....no chance there

So it's clear from those stats that Blackwood is every bit as good as Shesterkin and Vasilevsky. All three gave up one stoppable goal out of three. That's a definitive and statistically valid irrefutable finding. Case closed.April 1st, 2024
