Felt like Stecher made more of himself because he was such a gamer, but he was more reactive rather than being an initiator.

Everything hinges on Hirose getting stronger, but I hope he takes the offseason seriously.

With Benning and Alvin trading draft picks away like candy, it's nice to free signed prospects in the system such as Hirose and McWard. Both have been excellent in their short stint so far with the Canucks.

48 is a pretty impressive find. Not a lot of hype from the amateur scouts in the media.

He’s also 21 turning 22 (full year younger than Woo).

Wonder where he will be in two years.

A lot of skill work and just general experience against men and I wonder where he will be in two years when he’s Hirose’s age.

He probably tops out as a depth guy, but maybe they can pull a full time player out of him.
