Huge game for Garland. One of the best of his career.

Miller stepping up in big games, as per usual.

And honestly, all of the big players showed up.

Hughes with some bombs on the PP.

Boeser with the goal and assist.

Pettersson with some solid defensive plays and an assist.

And even Silovs showing composure after two quick goals that you’d like to have back. (Still don't like his rebound control).

Things have been pretty ugly as of late and this was the pushback we needed to see from this team.

Bonus: The PP is back!!! (Hopefully).

Well the last period or so I saw we looked pretty good. What happened in the beginning? Shorty said Silovs had a tought start?
At one stage in the 1st period the shots were 7-2 in favour of the Canucks with the score 2-0 in favour of the Knights.

Team really needed this one tonight. They've been pretty much playing like they have for the past 10 or so games and absolutely killing it 5v5, but the PP and PK simply weren't good enough. And we got terrible treatment from the refs yet again on a phantom Boeser hook after a clear hook from Hanifin on Joshua wasn't called, leading to being 1-0 down and then 2-0 down... but the PP kicked in. It's looked as good as it ever has.

Would prefer better results on the PK, but it's hard to say when the two conceded goals seemed pretty immediate.

Also really good to see Mikheyev skating like he used to.
