It's obviously not entirely Myers fault but he consistently fails to cover either the pass or the shot on 2 on 1s. It's a pattern.

He's appalling on 2-on-1s. Like it's an important microskill and he has no bodily awareness. I knew it was a goal as soon as I saw it was Myers on the 2-on-1 without much back pressure.

Thinking Pettersson has some sort of upper body injury. Just seems unable to do anything with his stick right now.

If they're that hurt they should be sitting, we've clinched.

Hard to say whose hurt and whose mentally weak but it reminds me of that season TB was focused on putting up regular season records and didn't rest Hedman at all when he was clearly playing hurt to finish the season and they got quickly dumpstered in the playoffs.

I feel the same way. Was just talking with a buddy about it - nobody WANTS to feel this way but we're just being honest about what we're seeing. What sucks more is lying to ourselves.

The positive mindset is that this team has the talent so it's always possible they flip a switch. I believe in their abilities. It's just that the confidence on this team seems so low.
