I feel management made some good decisions building the team, but no one could have predicted Miller's and EP40's beef to the degree it ended up being, EP40 vanishing to this degree, Demko's health just completely shattering. That's like a triple-whammy all in one season.

I mean, even if some of these issues were brewing/known last season, it's really asking for them to have a crystal ball to see where we are today, and commit enough to move one of those core pieces prior to this season.

After the hype and buildup the last three seasons it's like we've been rugpulled. That the team was dependent on Demko to succeed is not a factor this year. Tocchet was supposed to be the turnaround artist for this core but it's looking more and more like Allvin's team now and the core is disappearing.

An interesting take. On the PP it's a good combination - would like to see that more often than always just a forward.
