If Hoglander keeps playing the way he has and redefines his game further he would be an EXCELLENT 4th line player. Like a Lomberg.

His defensive issues make him such a weird player as he’s not really ideal on either a top 6 line or a shutdown line, but he’s great on a hardworking energy line, but seems a bit wasted on the 4th unless there’s other skilled players there.

Why doesn't toc ever put Blueger back with Garland and Joshua though?

Well because Suter was just as good on that line last year. And they are using it as a matchup line and Tocchet trusts Suter more than Blueger in that role right now.

Yeah he's done great in very limited minutes lately.............I wish he would get played a bit more sometimes but he was just on the pp1 for a sec so he's getting a bit more time........maybe he's starting to grow on Rick
