Where did this come from. Don't take low danger shots. They keep missing which makes them even lower danger. Carolina for example encourages shot volume which is an outdated concept and doesnt produce results. So the coaching staff has to encourage these players to pass up easy shots and work the puck around to get a higher danger chance. Make the shot blockers move. Make the other team switch coverage. That's something you have to coach in.

Canucks are one of the lowest shot volume teams in the league and you are suggesting that COACHING has to encourage them to pass up shots?

I get what what you are saying but this isn't on coaching my man. The Canucks need to shoot the f*king sh*t out of the puck from every chance and every angle until the end of the season. It's all about proof of concept with the roster build from now on
