When Hoglander plays well, Tocchet closes his eyes. The chemistry between Hoglander and Petey is obvious, seems more like a punishment by splitting them up.

I think it's more that Tocchet's line combos don't make sense. Joshua/Sherwood actually seems to be hitting less. Petey Debrusk Boeser is slow and timid. Chytil Conner is consistently hard working but might not have the skill.

They need to put more complementary pieces together. Put Sherwood with Petey and Debrusk again, he can do the hard work which Hoglander sometimes does which is why that looks good.

I don't know why Garland Blueger Joshua hasn't been returned to.

Boeser with Chytil will balance out Boesers lack of speed.

You know for all the shit I give the Canucks for relying too much on low danger point shots... Our D doesn't have to take those shots. Especially if they keep missing. IMO the coaches have to encourage a different approach.

dpetey has completely transformed the future of this defence because he came out of nowhere really.
