Like I said Costco tickets were only available during the first month of the season or so. You can redeem them throughout the season but good seats went pretty fast.

Ticketmaster/Stubhub/whatever have algorithm to make sure they are never that cheap, regardless of supply and demand. Scum bags they are.

EDIT: Wow didn't realize you can still find the packs on sale. I just check Costco.com and took that screenshot. Who knows what seats are left for redeeming though.

This is really tempting. I'm looking at a Section 238 Row 7 Seat 22 for $53. Its really nice to find cheap tickets at Sharks games now. They were always way too high.

Just as well as I got that bug going around and I shouldn't be spending money and gas if I'm not working.

Unfortunately, that means I have to watch the Sharks feed if I can find it (and I can't for some reason) since the game will be blacked out where I'm at. ESPN should saving it for the next month though so I should be able to avoid the score and watch it first thing in the morning - if for some reason I don't magically go to the game.

Start Lankinen. Demko Saturday vs the Leafs. None of this "he got the shutout so ..." stupidity.

What annoys me about it is that hockey fans think there's something magical about a shutout, but not, say, a one-goal game. So the guy who goes 14/14 has to go back in, but a guy who stops 34/35 or even (gasp) only 42 of 44 or something receives no such consideration. I have no idea why this one stat is treated as binary and important.

Not getting 2 points tonight would be catastrophic. But just winning isn't good enough. Need to see another strong effort where we really dictate the pace for 60 minutes.

I'd probably give Demko all the starts leading into the break. They're every 2 days, and he isn't going to the Face Off so he's going to get a break.

Lankinen is going, so he'll probably at least get some practice ice. Demko had his best game since he ret, so I'd give him these next 2 games to try and get his game dialed in. Then after the break split the time to keep them both fresh, maybe reconsidering that for the last few games if we are looking to be in the playoffs.

Although I'd also be fine having them split the playoff games as well, assuming both are playing well (and we make it).

this should have been fixed in the beginning of the year. but now with 29 something odd games left in the season, this team looks like its found its gear and enjoying hockey again. is it a little too late? i still believe they miss the playoffs anyways.

cant wait to see what the media detectives dig up regarding miller/lockerroom soon. has to be more to the story.

I think the issue is, the team says that Demko is their #1 guy and for the sake of his ego and to motivate him they are treating him as such.
This became a problem when he played four games straight but these last couple of games he's looked good. He's deserved the wins when the guys in front of him didn't contribute.

My thing is is Lankinen has earned it and Demko needs to fully recover. We have a great tandem now but the leagues hate tandems. Lankinen is certainly worth a lot more now for this one season but can Demko hold up?
