underlines showing the pairs that they build the line around, with the other winger interchangeable. switch hog and debrusk as needed, and maybe garland and sherwood too.

suter has been great, and of anyone on the roster to get petey going, i think it's him

If we are keeping Brock with Pettersson, I would try DoC with them. Totally agree they need a puck retriever/forcheck guy. Sherwood really worked well with Pettersson and Debrusk.

Otherwise I would try DoC back with garland, and Chytil.

As much as people want to get EP2 into the lineup, there is basically a 0% chance that the coaches (who hate D on their off-side) take a guy with 3 NHL games and put him on his off-side, or that they scratch the very well-performing Forbort to make room.

Unless things totally go into the toilet, EP2 is only going to be getting games this year if spots open due to injuries. He'll then likely be given a huge run at the 3LD spot next season.

There's been quite the smattering of line-up predictions over the past few days that have a lefty D playing on the right of the bottom pair. I keep asking myself whether I missed something about Tocchet having changed his ways.

If, over the next week or two, there's a change away from Juulsen as the third pair guy on the right, I can't picture it being for anyone other than Mancini.

Especially not after the game he had against Detroit. Kid was put on the first pairing and didn't even look out of place. You have to reward that effort. There's absolutely zero excuse to scratch him. If handedness is so damn important to Tocchet then sorry, Soucy, you're out of the lineup.

I like EP40 with Sherwood's game. Boeser and DeBrusk could be swapped depending on chemistry. I like Chytil and Garland too.

Joshua needs to get it in gear, otherwise I wouldn't mind seeing if Hogs and DOC can get any chemistry.

Joshua needs to be on the fourth line until he plays off it. Love the guy and appreciate what he's had to deal with this off season, but right now, he just isn't good enough to be playing middle six minutes.
