Do not take D-Petey out of the lineup. He is playing very well and needs regular minutes so we can see what we truly have there. He led the team in advanced stats last game, which is usually where you'd find Hughes if he was healthy.

I'll be livid if Soucy gets back in and they don't scratch Juulsen instead.

I'm guessing we don't see him until after the 4 Nations - if he even plays. I suspect he desperately wants to, and the Canucks would desperately rather he take the down time.
JP Barry said he wants to play in the 4 Nations and the injury is mostly just small minor stuff

100% this, we need to see if this is real or not, because what a gift if the kid is truly emerging and blossoming into a 3rd pairing D we can count on already!

would try the following:

suter - pettersson - garland
hoglander - chytil - boeser
joshua - blueger
- sherwood
debrusk - karlsson - doc

underlines showing the pairs that they build the line around, with the other winger interchangeable. switch hog and debrusk as needed, and maybe garland and sherwood too.

suter has been great, and of anyone on the roster to get petey going, i think it's him

I’d try:

Hoglander Pettersson Boeser
DeBrusk Chytil Garland
DOC Suter Sherwood
Joshua Blueger Karlsson

Hughes Myers
MPettersson Hronek
Forbort EPettersson

Probably the ideal forward lineup right now. Top line needs a first guy into the forecheck player, and DeBrusk with Chytil feels like it’d work. Joshua needs to go down to the 4th as he plays through the rust.

If we are keeping Brock with Pettersson, I would try DoC with them. Totally agree they need a puck retriever/forcheck guy. Sherwood really worked well with Pettersson and Debrusk.

Otherwise I would try DoC back with garland, and Chytil.

This ought to be interesting.

Head to head vs the guy they could have got, Necas and cheaper too.

Someone must have thought of this it is so obvious.

Anyway Colorado is a good team with fast players.

Figured the Canucks had a decent chance last game it being a scheduled win and all.

The Av's are still recovering from the number of severe injuries they have suffered to the top players but moving up the standings.
I am pretty sure they are confident they are in but might want to keep moving up the ladder.

I guessed 15 to 19 losses the remainder of the season for the Canucks, they have two since then and I think this is another

From all the reports it was Carolina who turned down the Pettersson trades
