It's easy to make someone look good when you cherry pick the stats you want and ignore the rest of the season.

Isn't it cherry picking as well if you ignore last season, the playoffs, the start of this season, and his current good stretch.

Yeah, they're not dumping him without a clear upgrade. He's 26 and has a history of way more good than bad.

About Jones...

He is a fine defenseman, just an overpaid one, and the Blackhawks are willing to be creative to move a player who doesn’t necessarily line up with their timeline. Sounds like talks are picking up on that front.
