Myers and Hughes make a good combination that balance each other - Myers plays better when he doesn't think he has to be the lead - but this holds Hronek's offense back though he's still recovering.

Please, let's have Lankinen back as No. 1 and let Demmer recover slowly in a backup role for the next few months - unless some team is desperate for a goalie before the TDL.

DeBrusk - Pettersson - Boeser looked good last game but we're down to one scoring line and it showed. Joshua is just getting back again and he holds back Garland. Hogs has hopefully found his game again and hopefully management will let him keep playing like he's meant to play.

Still not sure what Chytil brings to the table.

I seem to recall new Marcus as a Canuck Killer. Or I may be thinking of a playoff series but I do remember him being dangerous. I think our Defense greatly improves with him.

Chytil was really good in the playoffs a couple years ago and looked to be taking off. I'll be happy if we get that type of player moving forward although I haven't watched NY play much lately. I didn't realize he was quite to big. 6'2 210. l like that O'Connor too. He's 6'4, 209, and a really good athlete. He also had 33 points last season and 16 goals. Petterson is not big at 6'0.5 and 175 but he is supposed to be very steady and I hope can make a decent outlet pass. I do like that we've increased our mobility. He's a big upgrade on Desharnais.

Overall we're comparable in team quality. We lose the best player. However we get younger players and Chytil is probably pretty close to Miller's value or better by contracts end. We've also got $3 mil in cap space to add yet another player. Definitely improved our depth.
