O'Connor could be a big HIT in his first game or get one.
I think the Canucks might try to dirty this game up

Forbort has played pretty well and the management is clearly very high on him. There's no situation where he's scratched for a project.
When your position is called Defence and you haven’t given up an even strength goal in 7 straight games, it pretty hard to take him out of the lineup. Then throw in his elite PK skills. I don’t see him coming out of the lineup with his play. The others are battling for the last spot. Jullsen, Soucy, even Mancini.

Wow these lineups look great.

Make sure to include Hoglander with Pettersson too because he might get upset if Tocc puts him anywhere else.

And we know what happens then.....bye bye Tocc

Shawn Matthias without the goal scoring. Awesome

He's *a lot* better off the puck than Shawn Matthias.

Most Pittsburgh games I've seen in the past couple years he's really popped for his compete level and the way he pushes the play, forces turnovers, etc.

I'd say he's probably closer to a ... bigger Jannik Hansen, or something like that.

That would be amazing if he could be that type of player for us. We need a Honey Badger.

No excuses with Detroit playing less than 24 hours ago. Integrating the new guys will be a challenge, especially if Hughes sits out.

This is a new runway on the tarmac.

or send juulsen down to abby forever
itll never happen. juulsen probably reminds adam foote of himself (#26 overall vs #22 overall, same height, almost same weight, same handedness, same position) and gets way more rope.

well allvin said they did their due diligence and carefully reviewed all the medical reports

otoh, our medical staff
i looked at chris tanev's hockeydb page recently and noticed that he's missed like 24 games since he's left vancouver, when a major reason for not re-signing him was his health. thought that was interesting.

Debrusk 2025 Pettersson Boeser is maybe the softest top 6 line in the league, I’d be pretty surprised if they don’t have a puck retrieval guy on one of the wings.
