I have a feeling something strange is going to happen tonight.

JT Miller is going to sucker punch Tanner Jeannot. Todd Bertuzzi will be like...

Man I miss Zadorov’s generational playoff run by a #5D

I miss his presence and his wit. The team just feels...different with a guy like him among them.

Also, I had not watched him play this season, but on paper his numbers look quite solid, and he's also one of the few on that Bruins team who's a big positive on the +/- chart, if that means much.

I’ve watched a few Bruins games this year out of curiosity and he looked fine. He’d be our #3D this year, lol. I still think management made a mistake in not re-signing him or replacing him properly. Would’ve been a good transitional piece to play with Willander.

Lindholm on the other hand just looks like he’s trying at 50% all the time.

This team is so fuxxing soft it will ask 34yr old Tyler Myers and soon to be 32yr old JTMiller to stick up for it. The only 2 that bleed enough blue to do anything other than Joshua who is hurt and Garland who is a champ but too small to handle the big boys.

Had a chance to secure the 2 big Russians in Pod and Zadorov for playoffs and blew goats signing Heinen Desharnais and then Hoglander looks like a 4th liner cap dump for 3 million to add to it

Instead we have Myers as our 2(!)/3D...

Road Trip
  • Mixed reviews; only let in 4 goals across 3 games before having a stinker
  • Got back to their defensive game
  • Obviously need to score goals; did some video on how to create
  • Can learn from Winnipeg; cites Kyle Connor constantly moving his feet
  • Need to move their feet a lot better
Juulsen
  • Tweeked something
  • Gametime decision
Dealing with Struggles
  • Have to move your feet; too stagnant
  • Don’t allow a guy to check you; get off them
  • Times when they can take the puck to the interior
  • Sometimes a wrap around can get you in the game
Los Angeles Kings
  • Playing really well; are structured
Miller
  • He’s not hurt
  • Are rolling 4 lines which has lead to his decreased icetime
  • Miller knows he needs to play better
  • He’s trying to temper his edge; doesn’t want to take dumb penalties
Starting Goalie
  • Demko starting
Focusing
  • Momentum and consistency has plagued them this year
  • Hard to play the same way 3-4 games in a row
  • Need to move your feet, get to the dirty areas, and shoot the puck from the inside
His Time in LA
  • Lived by the beach then moved up to Bel-Air
  • The disasters are horrible; really tough to watch
  • Can’t imagine what the people are going through
  • When something is really bad, likes to see people doing a lot of good things
  • Knows people in LA that are housing other people

I’m not trying to add fuel to the fire again but something is seriously off. The vibes are terrible. Just looks and feels like someone who is not in it anymore and is waiting to leave.

Everyone following the NHL knows Miller is playing hurt.

And he says "I'm good". (hockey players doing hockey things)

Is this the first game with Lekkerimaki on Petey's wing?

FWIW he's been like this since pre-season.

Yeah, it’s just so odd to see him do a complete 180 and give one word answers. I know he took the leave and he’s probably still dealing with whatever it is, but it’s very odd and sad to see him like this.

Yeah I agree. I'm not sure why he came into the season with this attitude, but there is probably a reason whether it be hockey related or not. I think he's also been generally fed up with the media for longer than that, but he's obviously at the end of his rope with humouring their dumb questions. I like to imagine he's not always as miserable as he appears to be when with the media--it is more that his patience for bs has expired, his season (and maybe life) are going poorly right now, and he's forced to do these dumb interviews where media keeps insisting he take excuses for his poor play, and he has to sit there and basically admit "no I just suck right now."

If Desharnhais doesn't fight Jeannot tonight, I don't want him playing another game for VAN.

I would be surprised if it doesn't happen.

Desharnais basically said they will get their revenge back when the hit happened, and considering Tocchet is doing something as drastic as taking Juulsen out of the lineup you'd think DD understands the message.

"Move your feet" is so simplistic. Hopefully, he provides more nuance behind the scenes. It reminds me of when Homer became manager at Globex.

To me he just looks any player who doesn't like talking with the media. It's kind of a weird position to be in, answering coded questions that basically mean, transparently, "How come you're playing like shit?"

Why are you so pissy Leon JT?
Seems like a snowball affect with everything else going on in the background and whatever other issues there are.

Then the it doesn’t help when the media continuously asking stupid questions to get a sound bite and he’s clearly catching on and answering with “duh” responses.
