4-1 and all we got was a dumb vinny take down on jeanott. Any real team would be going after him all third period at this point. Majority of these guys dont give a f*** tho

And that was true even back in pre-season. Easy player to cheer for (though not for everyone, obviously...).

It's not easy to replicate results in a more difficult role. He's also playing on a team that's playing like shit.

Not that i overly disagree with your point, because I made a post a few weeks ago about not buying into 20 game samples when people are getting their legs at the start of seasons and that hes a regression candidate...

but he's still passing the eye test and if we dropped him onto last years team, he's got more points unquestionably
 
It is rather unfortunate but I'd assume that this is how this core is gonna end with the exception to Hughes,
that is if he even considers resigning here.
 
Cleared cache and cookies and still the the threads don't show the page numbers beside the titles. And when I click on threads it just takes me to the first post. Bah, little things like this annoy me. I don't know what happened.

I doubt his role is all that much different from last season. He's getting 2 minutes more ice time a night. He's fun to watch, he hits people. He's a million and a half a year. It's good value.

Management somehow paid more than double that to Joshua for pretty much the same. That might be a contract they will want to get out of quickly. Teams always overpay for toughness at the TDL.
