I'm far from an alarmist and have only come to this opinion recently, but I think Tochhet has to go. It's crazy to think we'd be here with a Jack Adams winner, but all signs point to the need for a significant change. IMO that is the only short term change that could potentially turn this ship around quickly.
There's no way Tocchet gets fired when the team hasn't been healthy all season.

The injuries basically give everyone (including management) a free pass.

But honestly our defence, even when healthy, is so bad that management deserves criticism.

absolutely no way tochett has to go. there's an obvious problem in the room he can't coach around and management won't fix it.

I seriously thought firing tochett was an absolutely crazy idea, but if this continues, I don’t know

Really hoping Granlund and Virtanen come alive here.

Jim Benning needs to act fast and sell some 2nd rounders for 23 year old fringe talents.

Is this worse than anything from the Benning years? Say what you want about the Benning years hockey wise but I don't think the room/morale was ever this bad.

It's time to start questioning hughes as a leader and captain. Anybody can look like a good leader when things go right but when they don't?

It's been obvious for a month that he's lost the room. There's no coming back from that.

At least during the Benning era it was comical how bad the team was assembled and we were all united in laughing as the fire got worse and worse.

This is kinda exhausting now, losing my interest in tha game
