I think the forward group is very good, but they’re lacking the defensemen who can facilitate proper transitional play. It was already poor before Hronek went down, but now the lack of puck moving on the backend is downright ugly.

Yes i guess it's just hard watching without Pettersson Hronek Demko and then last year the Joshua/Garland duo was constantly creating havoc and Hoglander was money off the 4th line or in spurts.

Thankfully were getting some troops back and Lekker looks good but the D is so gawd awful it makes everything hard

If I were the GM I am not sure I would be resigning Boeser. Love him to death but I don't think a long term contract will age well. I would be looking for assets for him.
