Hi my name is pieces

Sounds about right. Was about 8 week recovery time and were just about to get to the end of the 5th week.

The issue I gather is that since he opted for rehab over surgery the recovery schedule and how effective he is upon return can vary dramatically.

Team doesn't need to have a great season. They need to make the playoffs, and have a great 20ish games heading into them.
You're not wrong. If the centres' of our attention could sort their shit out and the back gets healthy, things look a lot different. If they can add an inexpensive piece that stabilizes the 2nd pair (how much could Dumoulin or Cole cost?) and some of their slow starters get going (Joshua/Hoglander)....it could get interesting.

Tonight’s Game
  • Looking for consistency
  • Sasson’s line was really good; Myers had a great game
  • Short turnaround so you need to stay with your team identity & system
Goalies
  • Lankinen starting
  • Called up Silovs; flying in from Quebec
  • Haven’t checked in with Demko
  • Back spasms can go away in 24-48 hours
Hughes & Pettersson
  • Neither Pettersson nor Hughes will play tonight
  • Both are getting close and skating & will travel on the road trip
Garland
  • Is a play driver; one of their best forecheckers
  • When you’re 5’7, it’s an inspiration to the team to see you winning battles
Top Line Getting Less Ice Time
  • Thought other guys deserved a little bit more
  • Didn’t have their best but still found a way to make an impact
  • Have to find a way to contribute
Lankinen
  • When he was a back-up, there were times where he hadn’t played for 2-3 weeks; has a lot of respect for players that can be cold and play great when called upon
  • He’s the mentality they want every night
Defensive Pairings
  • Will talk to Foote but liked the way the defence played yesterday
Desharnais’ OT Shift
  • Foote told Tocchet that Myers was tired and Soucy just came off & said “go with your gut”
  • Made a hell of a pass; would have been nice for Vinny to get an OT point

Wait garland is 5'7?

Hockey DB you frauds

Myers and Boeser always play their best on BTB games. So we got that going for us

Should be a doozy. No wonder a buddy gave me his tickets.

Any young studs on our defense you guys want me to watch closely?
