Kuzmenko a healthy scratch tonight, hasn’t scored in 25 games. Ouch.
You have to give Allvin some props here.....signed the guy to a two-year, $5.5m contract and then quickly realized his blunder and offloaded him on Calgary in the Lindholm trade, with no salary retention.

Looks like a stroke of genius this year, even with Lindholm leaving. It's back to the KHL for Kuzzy after this sad season.

If quickly means long enough to tank his value then sure

Some team will trade a mid round pick for him with retention just based off his rookie season + his tenure as a Flame last year after getting dealt (25 points in 29 games).

I thought we should've dealt him after his rookie season because we weren't going to be a contender anytime soon + he would've returned a significant haul, he still can return to form.

While Kuz fell completely off this year, so did the production of his former Canuck linemates, and the teams powerplay.

Still has more goals then either EP or Mik post trade. A lot of people underestimated where the teams strengths were, and what breaking that line up would do.

I honestly wouldn't mind signing him again to something like $1.35M and hope he is resurgent with EP. I mean his history is almost unheard of. Amazing first year (at 26) and then fell off a cliff when he was expected to play a 2 way game.

So put him on the 4th line with some plugs, and put him in on the power play.

Worked well with Sprong! Heck re-sign both and maybe acquire Gaudette. Now that'd be a 4th line that would excite this board!

Does the team remember that opening game in our rink? Flames came back from a 4-1 deficit to beat us in o/t.
Silovs was in goal.

Hope they return the favor (stranger things have happened), but do it in regulation.

I'm lucky because my wife is a witch and she casts some spells and makes some potions and hocus pocus I can watch one of the games in it's entirety after the first one ends! No idea how she does it, but works out well.
