When Eriksson et al were floating around collecting paycheques and hamstringing the team, people were talking about trying to get EP to sign a team friendly deal and I was adamant that there was absolutely no way he was taking a discount after years of watching these useless sacks of crap float around the ice taking up salary.

I have the exact same feeling right now about Hughes watching this stupid ass drama and his top six centres throw the season except instead of worrying about a discount it's leaving in free agency.

Probably Allvin's worst off-season.

This blueline is probably the worst assembled cast since 2018. Disgusting.

Yeah, not good. Very hit & miss this year - two of the best signings of the season in Sherwood & Lankinen (maybe Debrusk too), some brutal ones in Desharnais/Forbert (and Myers imo), and then just missing the boat entirely on the team's biggest need.

Not sure why Heinen was necessary at 2.25M - that could of helped the defence

That shift is pettersson slump in a nutshell. Juulsen f***s up an easy clear, Petey has to grind out the puck back, soucy f***s up an easy breakout, shift over

I think the signing of Hoglander was an obvious error. It was evident that he couldn't elevate his game down the stretch and into the playoffs.

Heyoooo DeBrusk!
