This Ottawa team has finally figured out how to play defense, and is now on a heater. Who would have thunk it with a Travis Green coached team?

But I suppose Ullmark has a lot to do with it. It's amazing what a top goalie can do for a struggling hockey team.

Wondering how much energy the Canucks will have in this one. It's their fourth game in six days with travel in between. Just praying we don't see another stinker on HNIC, like that Bruin debacle.

Market is talking about the top players struggling, the GM has now answered questions about it, and fuel has been added to the Petey vs. Miller fire with them not playing on the same PP unit anymore (although I highly doubt this has anything to do with their relationship).

Maybe it's time to reunite the Lotto line? I know it hasn't really worked much since the season they played together but doing this would remove all excuses and put the onus on the top guys to figure it out. Take away the "bad linemate" and "not playing with Hughes" excuses and get it done.

Miller - Pettersson - Boeser
Joshua - Suter - Garland
Heinen - Blueger - Sherwood
Sasson/PDG - Raty/Aman - Hoglander

This whole thing still has an exciting factor to it, we know that top line can go 20 games averaging 1.5 PPG

I haven’t exactly been following closely lately - Can anyone prove to me that the Miller/Petey stuff isn’t completely made up? I mean these are professionals getting paid millions to play a game that we’re talking about, it doesn’t make sense they’d be as petulant as the media is claiming.

Anyways, please beat Ottawa. Ullmark is on a hot streak so the big guns on this team will need to perform as such.

My personal guess is the truth is likely somewhere in between - probably there are issues with Pete and Miller, but I really can't say how severe they are.

No matter what, result is king. If you can win consistently, these problems are a no factor.

They actually have the forward depth to do it. I would try it.

But idk, apparently Tocc can't play Petey and Miller on the PP together anymore, so who knows. You're not allowed to put your best players on the ice at the same time.

...or they hate each other too much.

If nothing else, it's everyone from management to coaching to the entire fanbase saying, "ENOUGH. Get along or suffer together. But you're stuck with each other until you do."

Sens are on a bit of a heater and Canucks have been awful at home, his might be one to record and delete without watching.

Sens are on a pretty ridiculous heater right now. Coupled with our home ice struggles, this could be a tough one. Here’s hoping we show an effort like we did against Florida or Colorado.

A must win game?

The battle for the WC2 spot is heating up.

Ottawa's away record is better than the Canuck home record.
The usual stat line is the returning home first game is a dud, most times.

Two players that played similar now coaching similar styles.
Who the F knows who will win?

Meanwhile, at Helm's Deep, Helm Hammerhand, King of Rohan's daughter Héra leads the resistance against Wulf, a Lord of Rohan on the pretext over vengeance of the death of this father at the hand of Helm, seeks their total destruction and the crown himself.

Is this from the new anime movie?
