Tonight’s Game
- Feeling good and excited to play on a Saturday night
- 2 games before the break and everyone is excited for that
- Even though everyone is a professional, won’t be able to bring full energy 82 times a year but trying to go into every game bringing your best
- A lot of learning for everyone on the team
- Everyone knows about the reports
- There are times where he’s upset with Miller or Pettersson or Hronek but that doesn’t mean they don’t love each other
- Everyone is going to make a bad play
- Over 6 years as teammates, these bumps are normal and will happen
- His job as a leader is to continue to keep everyone “on the yellow brick road”
- Short-term goal is to have a good game tonight
- Long-term is being a successful team and make the playoffs
- 100% he believes “it’s workable” and knows “it’s workable”; saw it last season
