This is kind of strange to me. EP struggles so much with the media and media scrutiny. You would think the team would try to protect him and not trot him out there right now.

The team probably can't wait for the next road trip.

I bet if Hronek was watching any of the games he'd be livid.
hronek’s give a shit was high this year. no let off after signing that deal, which is the biggest fear someone should have

totally agree yeah he probably wants to kill people in the locker room rn

i respect him more for trying to talk than i would for hiding and id hope everyone else does give him that grace

You'd think they'd know what kind of questions are coming, especially with Quinn and Tocchet speaking earlier. Prep Pettersson with a statement he can say. "JT and i are both focused on what we can do to help the team win games blah blah"

Seems like they just sent him out with nothing.

chester’s a nice guy but the jokes are a lot of stuff that a 16 year old would tweet and repeats corsi stuff ad nauseum w out context and thinks it’s high level analysis

Also, he pays for twitter and gets a small cut of when one of these goes off.

Vancouver is not actually a tough media market, get real. It's just one of a handful of cities where hockey is the top sport. So what? When's the last time an NBA or MLB player avoided L.A., Boston or New York? Enough with the scolding.
Thing is, as a fan I don't really give a shit about players feelings about one another, I want to know about the game.

Like hey Miller, any thoughts on your previous, excellent defensive game and what you did to be more engaged last season?

Pettersson, what would you like to see to help support your offense, given the present limitations on defense?

Heh. That'll get some headlines that are more interesting than the present focus about feelings.

Ive never heard of him before
that’s why he’s the best unironically

he never pushes buttons etc

drops a bunch of small nuggets, overall nice dude who’s held down a pretty significant role within the media for a while

also has a pretty good relationship with this current management while remaining objectively critical, as seen by the fact rutherford’s last interview was with him

Trying to post cropped out interviews that are out of context and start more shit I’d presume.

TBF this place is the closest thing to social media for me. I think the world would be a better place if that was the norm

Another game where their blueline cost them points. The 'inconvenient truth' is that when Quinn Hughes is on the bench, this might be one of the worst bluelines in the league.

They can't turn, and have no closing speed. If a guy gets a step on them in the neutral zone, they're gone. They can't transition the puck out of of their own zone.....it's just up the boards or off the glass and out.

Everybody obsesses about the forward. But offense starts with a first, transition pass out of your own zone. And these guys are mostly hopeless.

It's over to Allvin now. I'm not convinced they can survive until Hronek returns. If he doesn't do something, they could be looking at 'next year' sooner than people might think.
