I'm turning this garbage off and put on Killers of the flower moon. As long as Myers and Juulsen are regulars on the lineup, this team is a f***ing waste of time

What is it with Quinn Hughes and getting totally outmatched by the opposition in big stage games? Kind of silly how this has been happening this year.

He took a step back the last month. The shots are becoming muffins again, and in to shin pads and he’s bleeding goals.

Whatever, look at the good teams … we weren’t gonna beat them in R1 anyways.

I was absolutely swept up in our start, but unfortunately we’ve regressed to the same old problems we’ve had for years. It’s unfortunate. I do think it’s capable of being turned around though, which I’ve not thought in years past.
It is striking how different the Canucks look now vs the start of the year.

But it hasn’t been 1 game. We’ve played this way since like Ottawa games. The signs were there early

This. I really hope I’m wrong and they turn it around, but I think it’s just as likely that the team goes into a skid. It’s naive to assume that they’ll continue to play at .500 or better.

I really would like to start seeing some more coaching adjustments. This game is probably toast, but things like the PK should see improvement with coaching and it hasn't improved nearly enough.

The canucks are a top 10 team at best.

But they are playing like a bottom team for the last month, somethings wrong.
Injury to a pretty crucial veteran D in Soucy, Pettersson playing through some sort of injury performing like a 2B center at best, and Kuzmenko in a sophomore slump will do that. Next year might be the year that determines whether this core is legit or stale. If a healthy Pettersson can't perform like he did last season, we're in trouble.

Jeeesh it's 1 game...... this place is has BiPolar disorder
All the issues that haunted the team the last decade are slowly creeping back into play. The structure they had to start the season is completely gone. Our star players have disappeared. And defense is crumbling. Seasons not over but they gotta figure their shit out soon or it's going to become another season of what ifs.

Canucks started looking bad right around the time that Pettersson fell off a cliff (just in time for us to lose to Toronto on HNIC).

Miller playing like an elite #1C covered for it, but at the end of the day we need our offense to carry us given the sorry state of our defense.

This I agree with. As good as he was to start, he needs to be a lot better. I think he was leaned on too much and he's starting to feel the effects of fatigue.

Desperately need a second pairing that can be relied upon in big minutes. Soucy being out sucks.

Agree they need to get Kuz or Hoglander with Pettersson.

They are forcing him to play in straight lines. It's not helping
