It's amazing to me Petey has raked up as many points as he has. It's also painfully obvious how little the watching western teams. Saying Petey's playing well is just silly.

It's because he had 20 points in the first 12 games but only 9 in the last 11, mostly PP points where Miller and Hughes did the heavy lifting.

So we can assume his injury happened somewhere around that 11-14 game mark.

Petterson just came off a season where he was top 10 in scoring and elite defensively. He's only 25.

We're a quarter into the season, a lot can change in the next 60+ games. He also still 7th in scoring despite playing mediocre as of late. I'm not too worried about him.

exactly, they refuse to shoot unless they get a clean look, and if there isn't a clean look, they would resolve to wrist shot from the blueline, it's too easy to defend against

That was a frustrating period, I know the ducks are playing a grinding scrubby game tonight after that joke of an effort they put on vs the oilers, but were not playing boston here. Troy Terry is one of the softest guys and he was skating around nobody wanted to hit him and pin him against the boards.
