PDG scratched

He works hard but when he’s not retrieving the puck on forecheck, he really brings nothing

Yea, he needs to be a great puck retrieval guy in order to justify his role on that line and he hasn’t been of late. Hopefully some time off might recharge him to bring max effort again

Yup, I liked what PDG has brought but he's gone cold and needs to maintain maximum effort at all times to maintain a spot. I'd argue Beauvillier should be in the exact same boat.

I have a feeling Beauvillier is only getting higher ice time in hopes of facilitating a trade. Supposedly, the major hold up has been no one wanting to take back him or Garland without sweeteners.

I wish I could read Pius Suter as what it actually is instead of Pus Suter.

I'd agree with you re: Beau for the first 15 games of the season, but he's been playing pretty well lately despite not really making a dent on the scoresheet.

PDG needs to sit, yeah. Hasn't done much these past few games and deserved to be moved off the Miller line.

I think it's proven that in this climate, one-dimensional middle 6 wingers have no value.

I can see teams being interested in Garland (as he has a decent track record of generating even strength offense) but not the contract.

Whereas I don't see many interested in Beau given his at best average size, at best average defensive play, lack of physicality and lack of play driving. The best thing he has going for him is that he's on an expiring contract and would be pretty cheap near the deadline @ 50%.
