How long is a mid table pick going to take to become an impact player? 3-4 years? Just trade it and do a Hronek deal.I haven't really complained about the defense. I don't think it's good enough but I've never felt that it's our only issue.
Basically our D isn't good enough but I don't expect or even want them to trade valuable draft assets to improve it. Just roll with the punches this season.
I'm also going and kind of intrigued about the sudden non-zero chance that we see D EP in that gameI'm going to the game on Tuesday and I am presently hyper aware of what the refs do when we play the Rangers.
Tocchet was talking about this recentlyHalf d success last year was forwards being where they need and winning puck battles on boards something that's not happening enough this yr

No. This is those idiots who willed Stamkos scoring a hattrick into existence. I warned them about manifesting such evil but they chose to do it anyway.
Then we will continue to have a shallow as f*** prospect pool. Weak draft or not, you can still get some good prospects to strengthen your system with the picks you have.this is a weak draft year and even at their worst this team isn't getting into the top 10. there's zero reason to be precious about draft picks
Whatever helps you sleep at night.No. This is those idiots who willed Stamkos scoring a hattrick into existence. I warned them about manifesting such evil but they chose to do it anyway.
A prophet is never understood in his time. Years from now, however, you shall be revered.Idiot.
Singular.
I see it the other way around . Soucy has dragged Myers down .Is this Myers dragging Soucy down? How many times has this happened when Myers is paired with someone for an extended amount of time in the top 4? I'm still a Soucy believer for this reason alone. Give me Brannstrom and Soucy on the 2nd pair and throw Myers on the 3rd pair.
And yeah Miller is definitely nursing something. Wouldn't be a bad idea throwing Sherwood on his line and getting Lekkerimaki on Petey's line.
Hell if I know. But something I am sure of is this team isn't going to compete for the Stanley Cup just because they traded those picks for some sweet rentals. How long is a mid table pick going to take to become an impact player? 3-4 years? Just trade it and do a Hronek deal.
I'm just glad the simulation we are in didn't let them win. I think about it every damn day.Off topic, but does anyone ever consider just how close we came to the Edmonton Oilers pulling off the greatest comeback in modern sports history? And the Canucks having been part of that?
I don't think I'd be able to watch another game again, honestly. Maybe in like ten years when McDavid and Draisaitl retire.
