What was wrong about what was said? Zadorov was playing 18 a night here of decent minutes then was exciting in the playoffs. But he was never a true top 4 defenseman or worth his new deal, and Boston fans aren’t exactly happy with it so far

Hope we play well in the third and salvage it but the Preds have a ton of good players who weren't going to stay bad forever.

They aren't trading Myers since he's a lockerroom guy. But if Alvin was shrewd he should.

If it's 21 minutes against third and fourth liners over a 10 game sample that makes someone a top four D to you, that's cool. I don't agree with it.

Boston fans are just a spoiled bunch that are used to having like 5 HOFers in the line up. Defensemen are a rare thing these days with a watered down league

I would too but he didn't look like a $3MM guy last season for us FWIW.

And the team would be equally as bad right now with Soucy/Cole as our 2nd pair.

Maybe I misunderstood - thought you were saying like Zadorov they missed Cole on his last contract, not the current one.

I think he was probably the team’s third best defender if you look at his whole season’s worth of work, but not by a huge margin and recognizing he fell off at the end of the year.

Agree he wouldn’t make a huge difference but there’d be a clearer path forward than with Myers locked up for three years.

They’re also pissy because they’re not good for the first time in awhile, but even still, he’s not the guy that’s going to stabilize a second pairing.

He looks to be back, but for me personally I want to see him PPG for the season before I start feeling super comfortable.

Right now he's 11P in 17GP.

So he has a 6 point gap to make up, which should be very easy for him if he's truly back.
