Last year was our peak. We thought we needed to find a top 4 piece but ultimately we are short a 2nd pairing. Myers is at the end stage of his career and Soucy has had one of the worst drop offs I've seen by a Canuck blueliner.

It's just too much to overcome. Hold onto the picks and maybe try and ship some guys like Myers and Soucy out.

remember when we gave up a 1st round pick, 4th round pick, the top scoring defensman in the OHL and Joni Jurmo for 9 games of Elias Lindholm lol
